Why Florida? Why Key West?
Key West has long been one of the most iconic LGBT destinations in the country—a place where our community has gathered, celebrated, and felt at home for generations.
With beautiful weather, incredible food, a vibrant LGBT history, and a walkable island vibe, it’s the perfect setting for five unforgettable days of connection, fun, and shared experiences.
This trip is also about showing up for our community—especially our longtime LGBT friends and supporters in Key West. The bars, restaurants, and guesthouses that have made this island so special to the gay community are feeling the impact of boycotts right now. If we don’t support them, some may not be here when the boycotts end.

There is a new airport in Key West. No more deplaning on the tarmac and walking into the terminal.
-
Flights can be cheap into Key West. Use flights.google.com to track prices.
-
You don’t need to rent a car if you fly directly into Key West. Ubers are cheap.
-
A very easy (and cheap) way to get from Ft. Lauderdale/Miami to Key West is to take a bus or airport shuttle. Friends like to use Greyhound.
-
Another option to getting to Key West is via ferry from Fort Meyers Beach.
